Smile tire jack for 60 corvette

i am looking for an original tire jack for my 60 corvette. anyone know the parts number. i know 53-61 are the same, but is there a different part number for each year. i saw a couple on ebay (too expensive) but one listing said there was a stamp on the jack sj4653. another listing said sj4658. do the last two digits signify the year? any help would be appreciated. ps: i am new member on this forum. other than ebay, anyone know where i can find this jack? thanks in advance, jim

I too am a new member, and I just read about your jack question today. The early (61 and 62) scissor jack part number is 3813730 according to their assembly sheets and parts catalog. The handle for this jack is part number 3815940. Reference is made to an earlier jack from say 53 to 60 as being part number 3706350 and also some later jacks (up to 79) with the number 3825993. The 1953-78 Corvette parts illustratio catalog lists 53-79 Jack as part number 3958710, but I believe this a replacement item manufactured in the late 70's. I have a 62, and this catalog has been right on in most cases.
Hope this helps.
