Lightbulb exhaust upgrade

I have a 2006 6spd. auto. I would like to upgrade my exhaust. I have been told Corsa sport or Borla. I don't want real agressive, more of a growl. I have been told Borla has a drone that can be annoying. True or not Thanks

Talking how much louder is the SLP Loud mouth ?

Arizonavette, The Loudmouth I would only use for track use or remote street use. Like areas zoned for industrial or farm type zones. About 90dBa at 25' in 40 mph or more areas. 80dBa is a loud conversation in a crowed bar. So that is very loud any were.

I am not sure enough as to the Loudmouth II.

One think to think about are the preformance cats. They are louder than stock also. Plus you get the preformance over the stock cats, which have come along way since 1975.

Not all States or citys have noise ordinance's or emission testing. you might check and see if the enforce them if they have them.

Guess I got off track, but hope I have helped. I like my SLP system as it now reminds me of my 66-427-425, 4-11 bought new.

I drive a 2007, C6, Z51 with a Corsa Sport exhaust.
It is fine.
Mellow and low restriction under power and little louder than stock
at Interstate cruise.
Gas mileage on the highway is 26 mpg+.
Good luck!
